Architecture Design Identity

On the gallery level of the Pavilion for the Utility-Vehicles, the conference hall offers a prestigious scope for meetings. The new steel-glass façade provides a panoramic view on the area and the four towers of the power plant of Autostadt.
By means of the choice of materials, Stephen Williams shows the different areas from which the vehicles originate.
On the gallery and the steel-bridge, a metal grid is laid as a flooring that refers to high-quality industrial products. On the opposite side which consists of an artificial turf , there is an appropriate location for camping vehicles, but also for police cars which manage to suit well to the green.
Within the structure, a tribune resumes the outside slope. From the seating stairs, which evoke images of planks of scaffoldings and loading docks of pickup trucks, technophiles get the opportunity to enjoy an unrestricted view on a huge LED wall.
Due to the large and square granite plates, the connecting wall on the ground level works like an outdoor area – The stainless steel bars are a reference to the industry.
